Loves of my life!

So in light of Valentine's Day I thought I would highlight the loves that I have in my life!

First of course is my wonderful hubby! Not to be bias but I really do have the bestest husband ever (for me!) I feel very lucky that Kev and me have had almost 8 years together just the two of us (minus the dogs!) We can look at eachother and know what the other is thinking, we love just hanging out the two of us, we tell eachother EVERYTHING (sorry, if you've told me a secret there's a good chance he knows it!) I won't go on with juicy details, but he is the cheese to my macaroni!

I love this little Miss. I know, it's a dog but she is my baby and I love that she never runs out of kisses for me!

These two are my loves too! They are always my best running partners, and will love me no matter how much I ignore them!

Now this crazy group of people can drive me crazy, but I would never want them to far away! I think that I am very lucky to have a family that always wants me around and is always supportive of whatever I do!

This group of people is proof that I am very VERY lucky! How many people can say that they truely love their in-laws (all of them!)? I really feel so blessed to have these people in my life for forever!

There are of course many other people in my life that I have great love and support from but these peps get the highlight! Thankyou for the UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! I loves you all for forever!

2010 was a great year for Kev and me! We did alot of fun trips this year and got lots of great times! Here are some highlights of the last year:

Kev went on a bear hunt in Montana and got his first bear! Lucky me, it's a full body mount that'll be here within a few months! Kev has picked out it's "spot" that it is going in the living room. It's going to be awesome.

We went to Disneyland for the 7th year in a row! We love Disneyland and have been going since we were dating!

Kev then went on a elk hunt and got this huge beast! Ya I don't know where he thinks this thing is going but it is NOT my living room!

We also celebrated our 6 year anniversary! We have accomplished so much in these great 6 years! We are so excited for 2011, there are lots of new things that will be coming this year!

One day in November I told Kev that I either wanted a baby or a puppy! So guess who showed up with this sweetheart THE VERY NEXT DAY! haha! I love my little Dixie so much!

Umm there were tonz of other fun things of the year, but lets focus on this new year! I have realized that I suck at making "resolutions" so I'm not! But I do have goals for the year! Like:

-I want to run in a half marathon this year, with a goal time of under 2 hours (putting me at a 9 min mile!)

-I want to compete in a triathlon (specifically Salem's Triathlon on June 14th). My goal time? Haha ya right! I just want to finish it!

-I want to lost XX lbs in fat(yes it is in the double digits) and gain 5-8 lbs in muscle!

-I want to get all A's in all of my classes and I want to be the top b*tch in my class! :)

-I want to make sure Kev has the best 30th bday by taking him to Cancun, all payed by me! That means LOTS of over time, but it's worth it!

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST!

-I am going off my birth control in August! Ya I know, where finally ready to start a family (with babies, not dogs)! haha. We are both very excited about this, August can't get here soon enough!

Ok. Been a while, I know! I'm a busy girl OK! On October 30 I ran my first 10k. I was training for a half marathon, but backed out at the last second (literally!) and honestly I'm glad I did! I ran the 10k in 62.52 mins, which is a 10.06 miles/min, which I am proud of!

I'm wonder woman, DUH!

We had to wear a costume to the run and I wore the easiest thing I could think of! I know it doesn't really make alot of sense, but oh well! I am now training for a half marathon that takes place in April and a Triathalon that takes place in June! Crazy huh?

And this is Dixie! The newest member of our family! I know, I know, another dog! Kevin suprised me with her two weeks ago and I just love her! She is the sweetest thing ever! This is her sleeping with her bone!

Here's Dixie making friends with Tucker! Sweet huh? I know you're all thinking 'just have a baby already!' but I want to wait til I'm done with school and that's another year and a half away, and I'll admit I want a baby, but that's what Dixie is for now! haha!

Soo, I guess I'm crazy on two accounts now huh? :)

Kevin's Elk!

Kevin went elk hunting over the weekend and got this beauty in less than 5 hours! haha! he's very happy and excited to say the least! It's a 7*7 and is HUGE!

I don't know where he thinks this is going to be hanging!

Sweet September!

September was a busy month for us here at the Slider residence. Here's a little look over the last month!
-We went on our yearly trip to California at the beginning of September and had a great time! It was nice to get away for a little bit!

Of course we had to spend a day at the beach. Highlight of the day at the beach? Walking down the beach holding hands and seeing dolphins jumping in the surf!

We went to an Angels game, my first major leage game ever! It was lots of fun, even with a crazy lady behind us, and a way to excited newly weds in front of us!

Of course we stopped in Disneyland! Here's us on a ride having way to much fun! I love that we have been to Disneyland every year since we met! It's out place!

-We hung out with this awesome couple! We met Em and Mike on our cruise last year on the last day and have kept in touch with them ever since. Em was here to run a marathon, so we were lucky enough to have a nite to hang out with them in Park City. There is only a slight height difference between us (may I also say that I am wearing my biggest heels I own and it still did nothing for me next to them)! haha

-I got inspired by Em to start running more, more specifically run a marathon (one day). I got these AWESOME new kicks and am up'in my milage and endurance each week! I am so happy/excited to have this thing to build up to! Love the challange!

Other things that have happened in September:

-I started nursing school! So excited to be able to see a light at the end of the tunnel!

-I went down to part time at work.

-Kevin decided to go on a big elk hunt at the end of October. He is BEYOND excited, he cannot sleep at nite sometimes cuz he get so excited! haha!

-I am trying to get ready for a half marathon at the end of the month! Ya this month! CRazY huH?

Umm that's all I can think of right now! So ya!

So I have been inspired! I want to get my butt into shape and I have been inspired by this crazy fun chick: http://www.twentysixpointtwoormore.blogspot.com (you must read the LOL'ing post, laughed with tears comming down my face and she has a SWEET give away going on that is a must have!) and this wonderful hot friend of mine: http://royalpitatoias.blogspot.com (who just came up from AZ to run the Top of Utah run). So what have I been inspired to do, run a freakin' marathon! Ya I know, crazy woman! and i'm not saying that i'm doing one this year, though there are a few half marathons that have caught my eye (http://halloweenhalf.com, you get to run in a costume!) I have already ordered these sweet running shoes (i love pink) and have added almost 2 miles to my regular run!

wish me luck! and don't bother telling me that i'm crazy, i already know that!

I cannot believe that we have been married 6 years (together 7). We have accomplished lots of dreams and been on some amazing vacations together! We have loved every minute of the last 6 years and can't wait to see what the next 6 hold! xoxo (ps our anniversary was on the 6th, so this is a little behind)!

Finally after 6 years (almost) of being married we got new pictures taken. Really we haven't had pictures taken since our wedding! We were soo excited to get these done by Kevin's awesome cousin Jenn.

Of course we had to have the dogs in the picture with us! This one is my FAVORITE for sure!!

Kevin's Bear!

So after we went to Yellowstone we headed up to Montana for a bear hunt. Kevin has been wanting to go on one for a while so we headed up for his birthday. The day after his 29th birthday he got the best present ever! This beautiful chocolate black bear! He weighted about 250 lbs and was 6 feet tall, Kevin shot him from almost a 400 yard shot. It was really impressive!

Here's Kevin and me with his bear! I was so happy he got a bear, especially cuz we had ticks crawling all over us and I wanted to get out of that canyon!

Here is Kevin with our awesome guide John. John was really a great guy and was super helpful!

Here's a close up of the bear. It had a really great coat and color. You can't see it but he had some HUGE teeth!

I wouldn't want to clawed with those! We had a really great time on our trip and I'm pretty sure that Kevin had the best birthday ever! PS Happy Birthday baby! I love you so much and had so much fun on our quick little get away!

Yellowstone

This is a grizzley bear that Kevin spotted in Yellowstone. He was digging for something in the ground, it was really cool.

There were tons of elk and bufflo all around, it was really cool! As you can tell it was freezing while we were there!

I got a job at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center! I am very excited for this new opportunity and can't wait for all the great things that will be coming along with my new job (can you say tuition reimbursement)! I will be a PCA in the Orthopedic surgery area and am super excited! I am really sad though because I will be leaving my amazing job of two years. I LOVE my old office and am really sad to say goodbye to the great people I get to spend so much time with. I hope they know how much I will miss them and how much I appreciate them! xoxo forever Dodge Family Dental!

Kevin and me took a much needed day off and headed up to Sundance for some skiing. The snow was kinda icy and I fell 4 times in the first 3 mins but after that I didn't fall again! Guess I had to get it out of my system haha!

My Christmas Project

So over Christmas break I got bored because I didn't have any homework to do, so I decided to find a project! I decided to redo my guest bathroom because it's super ugly and boring! I found a super cute idea at this blog: http://www.allthingsthrifty.com/ (they are amazing and have the best ideas). So here goes! Boring ugly bathroom before:

So here you see stenciles that I made on my own (got the idea from the blog above) that I made out of painters tape.

So this is right before I painted, I had these leaf stencil on the walls and then painted over them and after the paint dried I peeled off the tape and got this:

Here it is! I found this great paint color at Home Depot that I feel in love with and had to have. So I think that the bathroom looks a MILLION times better! What do you guys think? Comments are appreciated!!

I LOVE Ed Hardy! And this purse designed from him is soo cute! It's love!

This is truely number one on my list! To say I WANT is an understatment! I NEED THIS SOO BAD! If I had these my hands wouldn't be soo cold at school and I could write stuff! So once again I NEED THESE!!!

I love this necklace. It's a cute way to remember your love and your special day!

I also really want a thick leather band watch like this! Something that I can wear with everything and will be durable to last a long time

I want this Turbo Jam home workout videos really bad too! Sometimes I want to workout but am to lazy to go to the gym!

K, if I could wakeup Christmas morning with my hair long and beautiful and wavy like this I would never ask for anything ever again!

Huntin'

This year Kevin and me got to hunt together since we both had buck tags! It was my first year hunting and I was super excited! Kevin got this 2*4 on opening morning of the hunt.

This is the biggest buck that Kevin has ever gotten and he was soo excited! This guy was 3 hours up American Fork canyon (and it took us 5 hours to haul him out) but we think he is mount worthy so it was worth it!

Here's me with my first buck ever! Yes I shot it all by myself, the first shot was a perfect shot! I really did it by myself! It's a 4*4 with eye guards and yes to those who are wondering it is bigger than Kevins!

Here's Kevin and me with my buck! Kevin kept telling me all day how proud of me he was and promises that he doesn't mind that mine is bigger than his!

I am so excited and proud that I was able to do this by myself! I'm really happy that me and Kevin were both able to get something this year and were going to get them both mounted. Hmm... where to hang them?

Part 3 of the vacation

Part 3: Vegas! When we got off the cruise we headed to Vegas to meet Kevin's family. While we were there we all went to the UNLV game to support Kevin's cousin who is the kicker. We had an AMAZING time on our vacation and are still having a hard time adjusting to being back to real life!

Here we are starting our awesome vacation! We are heading to cali here! It was just Kevin and me the whole time and honestly we loved it like that!

Part 1: CALIFONIA! Here's Kevin boogie boarding at the beach!

I tried boogie boarding to, but wasn't that big of a fan!

We of course had to hit Disneyland (we have for the last 6 years) Here we are on Tower of Terror! Our favorite!

We had a huge group with us in Disneyland! There's Summer, her baby Kila, her little sister Chelsea, Jenny and Eric, me and Kevin and Chelsea and her little guy Noah! We had so much fun with everyone!

We stay with Summer everytime we go to Cali and this is the first time she came to Disneyland with us!

While in Cali Kevin decided to learn how to surf! Good thing we had Dave there to teach him!

Part 2: CRUISE! Here's our cruise boat, we were soo excited to get on the boat!

Here's our room with a view! It makes such a big difference to have a room with a window, we'll never go without again!

We decided to hangout on the front of the boat for when it pulled out of the harbor. It was really pretty but super windy!

Our first stop was Ensanada, Mexico. We went horse back riding on the beach, which was really fun except the horses didn't listen to us at all!

We also stopped by the blow hole, which was really pretty!

We were having so much fun! We didn't want it to ever end!

We stopped and ate in this resturant that was decked out with monkeys! It was so funny!

Getting dressed up for formal nite was really fun! I've only worn this dress one other time so it was nice to bust it out again!

This is our totally awesome group that we hung out with on the cruise! There's Mitch and Karen on the top and Jamiah and Anthony next to us! We love these guys and can't wait to see them again!

This is Kevin the entire cruise! He loves the boats soft serve icecream and could usually be found with two in his hands!

Like Kevin's braclets? Their for seasickness! The boat really rocked and made us both a little sick so we usued whatever would help!

Our second stop was Cabo and I loved it there! The water was perfect and Kevin had to drag me out of it to get back on the boat!Here's Kevin with our "glass" bottom boat! Haha nice huh? We took a little cruise around the bay of Cabo before we hung out at a great beach.

We made a quick stop at Lovers beach, it was beautiful. The beach is between the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific ocean.

There were huge waves on the Pacific side so Kevin had a great idea to run to the end of the beach when the waves would be building up and then run up the beach as fast as he could before the water got him. It was soo funny!

There's this place in Mexico called Senor Frog that is really popular so of course we had to make a quick stop there!

And the place is a party! There's dancing, load music playing, great food and drinks! I could have hung there all day!

There was this guy who was dressed up like a pirate there, he looked just like Jack Sparrow (except he was covered in gold)!

LOBSTER NITE! K your not going to believe me but Kevin ate 4 lobsters! I couldn't believe it! Then as soon as he was done he ran and got two icecreams for the soft serve machine!

Catch up!

It's been a busy month! We've been working hard and playing harder! So here's a quick catch up of the month of August! We had lots of fun fishing up Payson Lakes with the Hess'! It was a really great day for fishing, everyone caught something. I love the picture of all the boys with their shirts off!

I hiked to Stewart Falls with my mom, brother and the boys. It was the eaisest hike ever, the boys pulled the whole way! It was a beautiful hike, but didn't see any wildlife. I'm sure that's cuz my boys scared them away!

We said goodbye to these sweet little guys! We had so much fun playing with all the puppies this summer. Whenever we had some free time we would go "borrow" some puppies for a few hours and have lots of fun playing with them. Their all gone now and I honestly miss them!

And the most important thing that happened in August was that Kevin and me celebrated our 5 year anniversary! I can't believe that we have been married for so long! It's seriously flown!! We love that we've had all this time to ourselves to go on lots of fun vacations and accomplish some of our goals. I love Kevin with all my heart! He is the most supporting, loving, caring, sexy, hott, sweet husband ever! I can't wait for whatever the next 5 years hold!

Oh geez! Kevin grew out his beard over the week and when he was shaving he decided to give himself a manhandle mustache.

Which lead to a full on cowboy outfit! It was soo funny! The best is when we ran into old man cowboys dressed the exact same way that had no clue that Kevin was making fun of them! I told Kevin that he can never grow a manhandle mustache ever again!

Yes that's right I went to the Yanni concert. And guess what? I LOVED it! Really. I grew up on this music and it was soo much fun to go with my parents to it!

Another Great Read

I LOVED this book! It was soo good, I finished it in 4 days. I could not put it down and in the end I cried my eyes out for a solid 5 mins. (but tears continued for atleast 10). It is an amazing love story that is like non-other and I can't wait for the movie! I do want to warn everyone that there is language and some other things that are a little different in this book, but i don't think it should be passed up!

So I got to take off for the weekend with the HOTT amazing girls for a great weekend in Moab!

Here's our group of girlies right before our hike, to a place that I can't remember the name of, but it was lots of fun, even when we vered off the trail a few times!

Here's where our hike took us, it was such a fun hike I honestly wanted to go all day! And believe it or not there were people rock climbing up that!

Here's some of us girls by the pool! I think that was the best part laying by the pool all day working on our tan, sipping smoothies. Yes, that is me in the back reading a book and not partaking of the fun! hehe

Thankyou so much Lori (purple) for inviting me to the Annual Girls Moab Trip, I had soo much fun and can't wait for next year!

I just finished reading "Escape" by Carolym Jessop. I LOVED IT! I read the book in less than two days, I couldn't put it down! I think this was such an amazing story of a very brave woman! I really recommened it to everyone!

This girl and this guy got engaged! Yep today is our 5 year engagement anniversary. 5 years ago Kevin took me up the canyon for long boarding and a hike up to a waterfall (Upper Falls) and suprised me by getting down on one knee and asking me to spend forever with him. I LOVE Kevin so much! We have an amazing marriage and have had lots of fun just the two of us (and the boys). Saying YES! was the best thing I ever did. I LOVE YOU BABE!

This is me right after my last haircut ONE YEAR AGO! I love my hair short but I decided a year ago that I was going to grow it out. Geez it is taking FOREVER!!

Here's me now. I really don't feel like it's grown alot concidering it's been a year! I'm at the ugly stage of the hair right now and I'm SOO tempted to chop it off! CINDY- DO NOT LET ME CUT IT! PS. I have NO makeup in this photo, so be nice and don't cringe to bad!

Here's Kevin and me at the long awaited Celine Dion concert! We were able to move from really crappy nose bleed seats to SECOND ROW seats! It was soo amazing!

For Valentines Day Kevin was so great and got me the third band for my ring. I have wanted it for so long and I was SOO excited to get it. Here's a picture but you can't really tell what it is!

Of course we had to get the boys something!

Kevin brought me this a week or so ago. It's his answer for the third dog situation. I thought it was soo cute! He dropped this off for me at work and I couldn't stop smiling all day! We had a great Valentine's day getting couple massages and going to Tepanyaki! I LOVE you so much babe and am so glad to have you in my life!

O.K. for those who know me, know that I LOVE boston terrier's. I love the bug eyes and the fun personalities they have. We'll Kevin keeps telling me about all these great deals he's seeing on KSL or THRIFTY NICKLE on boston terrier dogs. And I have to ask myself, people have 3 kids and their not crazy, so am I if I get a third dog? HMMM.....

So every year the McQuarrie and Slider family get together for a Christmas Bunko Party. It's my favorite tradition of the holidays!

I love how everyone starts to scream out numbers and BUNKO!

We have this great tradition where we go out with our awesome group of friends to Outback every Christmas. Can I just say how much I LOVE this group of friends. All the guy have been friends since elementary school and they all married great girls who I LOVE soo much! Ward Christmas Party

This last weekend we had our ward Christmas party and for those of you who don't know I am the Ward Activity Chairman (not a very easy calling sometimes). But all went well thanks to these amazing girls on my committee and the main man in red too! Thankyou girls for all the help and support you give me. I truely LOVE you!

Do you ever have those nights were you like "I needs something sweet and alot of it!"? Heather and me were definitely having one of those night last week. So what did we do? Went to Maceys at bought at big thing of cookie dough and ice cream!

But then I stole a bite from her! OK so here's what we ate, their called "Pizookies". yes, Pizookies (pizza/cookie). What you do is get cookie dough and flatten it on a cookie sheet, take it out of the oven while it's still gooey and scoop it up with some icecream and wa-la, you're in HEAVEN.

TWILIGHT!

So of course I was at the midnight TWILIGHT premier (a few weeks ago). I went with all the girls at my office and had the best time with all of them.

There are some crazy fans out there! At one point there was a cat fight over a Twilight poster and a crazy lady brought her 5 day old baby to the movie! Really? The movie was pretty good but I think I had a better time hanging with the girls!

So Kevin goes to the grocery store the other night and when he get home he announced that he had Oreo's. Which of course excites anyone but by the time I got to the kitchen Kevin had destroyedthe poor Oreo's.

He had scooped off all the fillings (the best part)!

and plopped it into the cover!

This was the finish result. Oreo cookies (without the cream filling) crushed beyond recognition! He did save a few for me but really? Does anyone else have a crazy husband or is it just me?

So I'm watching the news a min ago and they announce that due to some "throat problem" the Celine Dion concert (yes the one that I bought tickets to last Thanksgiving and whose tickets I have had on my fridge since last December) has been postponed until next February! So I have been telling Kevin for at least a year that I want Ugg boots (or the cheap knock offs). So I decided that I would ask for them for Christmas and that would be that. Well I've been saying almost everyday for the past month that I really, really, REALLY can't wait to get them. So I got sick of the wait and went to the mall and got them! Heather had some great Halloween decoration but this was by far my favorite! All the little kids at the party were truely freaked out from this jello hand.

BYU vs UNLV game!

On Saturday Kevin and me went with his family to the UNLV game. Kevin's cousin is the kicker for UNLV, we had a great time cheering for UNLV with all the zubies around us!

Here's Kevin and me at the game in our awesome shirts that his aunt made fo everyone to wear. They say "CTR" on the front and the #37 with "Choose The Rebels" on the back. We got soo many complements on these shirts, even from BYU fans!

Venice Beaches finest. We wandered Venice Beach for almost 2 hours and I'm pretty sure this guy didn't move once the whole day! It was the perfect people watching day ever! It was kinda scary though cuz someone was shot to death at the same place we were a few hours after we left! Kevin and me on a ride at Disneyland. I'm honestly suprised we didn't lose our camera!
Starting from the top there's Randy, Pieper, Cindy, Riley, me and Kevin on Splash Mountain. We had so much fun with Kevin's sister Cindy and her family in Disneyland.

Kevin and me were home from Cancun for about 9 hours before we were back in the car and heading to California. Just long enough to wash and repack everything. We had so much fun in Cali, we went to Raging Waters, Venice Beach and Disneyland. Special thanks to Summer and Dave for letting us stay with them and keeping us entertained!

Here's Kevin and me starting our awesome vacation. Were on our way to Cancun here! So excited!
Here's us at one of the resturants at the hotel. They made us wear these huge sombrero's and these smelly sashes, but it was totally hilarous.
I got a great tan in Cancun but Kevin turned pink! You can see it starting in this picture.
One day we went to the Island of Women while in Mexico. We rented a golf cart and drove all over the island. We saw ruins and lots of huge iguanas (yuck). Then we spent the afternoon sitting on the beach and drinking Bahama Mama's (my new love).
This is one of the local beaches on the island. We would have played in the water here but the iguanas were everywhere! We didn't dare! Cancun was so much fun. We just layed around the pool with a Bahama Mama close at hand or played in the ocean all day! It was truely heavenly and i can't wait to go back. (But we don't miss the humity, I felt like I couldn't get enough oxygen the whole time we were there)

So I have been wanting to paint my kitchen RED since we moved in last year, but painting is a huge pain so I kept putting it off. And then I forgot what a pain it is and decided it was time! I was only done with half of one wall when I remembered how much I hated painting, but now that it's done I LOVE IT! It sounds funny but having my kitchen painted makes it feel more "homey".

For our 4 year anniversary we took a long weekend to Duck Creek with our friends for some fishing, hiking and 4-wheeling.

Today was a bitter sweet day. I went back to work today for the first time in a week and a half. Really I haven't worked since June 26th. It was really nice to do nothing for so long, it totally changed my perspective of being a stay at home mom. I loved sleeping in and taking long runs in the morning with my boys (aka, the dogs). And today when I had to get up early to go to work I was less than thrilled, but once I got there I was actually kinda' happy to go back to a regular schedule. And I also got the new battery to my camera so that really made my day. Oh well back to reality!

4th of July!

The fourth of July was lot of fun this year. We started out at Kevin's aunt and uncle McQuarrie for a BBQ and swimming.

On Friday night after a long wait we finally got sod! Kevin and a friend did the whole backyard on Friday night and on Saturday night with some help from Kevin's dad and big brother Chris we were able to get it done in a few hours! I am so happy to have grass!
This is our front window box, were to busy to really do anything big with it so were going to put a bench in the middle and have a little sitting place. In the fall I MIGHT plant tulips but I don't know.
This is the dog area on the side of our house. It's nice to have them have their own area and still not be our way.
This is a little path we put in to get to the dog kennel from the back porch. Were so happy to have a yard! Thank you so mcuh to everyone who has helped us! It's been a month from hell but it's over now!

Memorial Day Weekend

This is the cabin that we stayed at for the weekend! We went with our friends Heather and Eric and their WHOLE family. We had lots of fun fishing, four-wheeling and putting puzzles together. I did get into a little four-wheeling accident and hurt my thumb, but i'll survive!

This is Kevin with his first catch of the day. He honestly caught this fish within the first minute of throwing in his line. He didn't even have time to turn around and unfold his chair! Way to go babe!
Yes, that sad looking person is me! It was really cold and we had been out for 7 hours. Lets see who looks good after that long sitting in 40* weather trying to catch a fish! And this is the only fish i caught all day to! i don't think i'm cut out for fishing.

Those black dots are bugs! At the first lake we fished at was packed with these "may flies" that would come to life at the slightest sign of sun and swarms us and then land all over us and just sit there. We were all covered with these nasty things and all we could hear was the buzz of them. I honesty had a hard time sleeping that night cuz i kept imaging buggs on me. YUCK!

Viva Las Vegas!

This is Heather and me at our first stop on our Vegas trip the Hoover Dam. It was really fun to go to! I don't know if I had a better time looking at the dam or people watching?
This is the hotel that we stayed at, The Palms. It had a great pool and the rooms were really nice too! I took this picture from the Play Boy Club that is across the way from where we were staying. We had a great time dancing the night away at the Play Boy Club and Moon. Kevin, Ciara, Heather and Eric at Boot Leggers, a really good Italian resturant off the strip!

I just got done reading "The Host" by Stephenie Meyer and I absolutly LOVED it! I finished it in less than a week and I wanted to pick it up and start it all over as soon as I was done! Honestly I am a HUGE "Twilight" fan but "The Host" was so much better for me personally. I love "Twilight" but I did sometimes feel like I was reading a highschooler book. EVERYONE, go get this book! We have officially been in our house 1 year (On May 4th). It really hasn't changed much from this picutre, we still don't have a yard but I'm sure there's more poop from our dogs. 1. I love to clean the house with Celine Dion BLASTING! I mean to the point that my house is vibrating and the pictures are falling off the wall. And I sing (more like scream) along at the top of my lungs and I love it.

2. I love the gym! I know that some people hate to go to the gym but I love to go and get sweaty with other sweaty people and I love to flex my butt at the mirrors. I will never give up my gym pass!

3. I have a major celeb crush on Will Smith. When he was working out with his shirt off in "I Am Legend" I almost hyperventelated! I have loved him since "Fresh Prince" and yes Kevin knows that he is my celebrity man. If i didn't have Kevin in my life Jada would have some major competition!

4. I don't wear toe nail polish during the summer. Really. When I
was younger someone pointed out that nail polish has sparkles in it just like fish bait and that fish probably get confused sometimes and bite toes. So I WILL NOT wear toe nail polish if there is any chance of getting in any water that may contain hungry fish.

5. I have a reading addiction. I LOVE to read anything and everything. And even if I hate the book/series I'm reading I have to finish it, even if I'm rolling my eyes at every word. But when I'm reading a book that I love I'll stay up until 3 a.m. reading it!

6. I love Mustard and hate Ketchup. I wouldn't eat Ketchup as a kid cuz it looked like blood and now i just think it's yucky. But I love to drench everything in Mustard.

7. I'm envyious of pregant bellies. NO, I do not plan on having kids for at least 3 more years, so don't ask. But I think pregant bellies are so fun. I have this thing were I always have to touch a big belly if I see one -yes I'm one of those freaks who touch people I don't know bellies in the store- I can't help it! I can hardly wait to have a basketball looking belly and waddle around cuz I'm so big.
